En el Parque Nacional de Torres del Paine, en Patagonia, se levanta este campamento con la filosofía de vivir como los antiguos nómadas de la zona, pero con la comodidad de un gran hotel. Tiene capacidad para 30 huéspedes repartidos en 16 domos construidos con el más riguroso cuidado medioambiental: utilizan energía cien por cien renovable y la electricidad está muy limitada. El objetivo es que cada invierno todo vuelva a quedar intacto (abren sólo de octubre a abril). Perfecto para realizar rutas y expediciones por los Andes.

The Ecocamp Patagonia, located in the heart of the Torres del Paine National Park, is the first hospitality company in Chile to receive the prestigious ISO14001 Environmental Management System certification from a third party certifier -Societe Generale de Surveillance, SGS-Switzerland-. "This certification is the most significant achievement of our environmental efforts in the last years" said Sebastián Gómez, general manager of Ecocamp Patagonia.
ISO 14001 certification is a rigorous and very complicated process and is the result of multi-faceted environmental initiatives. ISO 14001 certification must be renewed each year, and Ecocamp must continually improve its Environmental Management System standards in order to maintain certification.
