We had a wonderful time! You and all of the staff at
Eco Camp were a pleasure, and we are both very grateful for
the time everyone put into ensuring we had a wonderful experience.
The travel information and initial set up, provided by yourself,
was valuable and much appreciated! The travel to and
from the Eco Camp from Punta Arenas was enjoyable, Carolina
was an amazing guide (we wish we had more time with her to
learn more about the park), and the food and suite could not
have been better.
We hope to return in the future, and we definitely want to
stay longer the next time around. Please keep in touch
should any special promotions pop up in the future!

DAY TORRES DEL PAINE SHORT- W TREK

I first found the picture of Ecocamp in Journey Latin America
brochure. Then I searched the internet for Ecocamp's website.
I found the website very accurate in the description of the
trek and the Ecocamp. The payment process was also very simple.
The camp itself was also very enjoyable. The standard of the
tents was very good. The standard of the cooking and box lunches
was also very good. The guides had good knowledge of English,
the landscape in Torres del Paine and were great fun.
I would recommend this trip to friends or other people visiting
Torres del Paine. It is a beautiful place and I am very lucky
to have explored it.

Days Torres del Paine W Trek

Sehr zu empfehlen der Aufenthalt im Eco Camp. Ökologisch
sehr eindrucksvoll. Interessierte, angenehme, gebildete Gäste.
Kein Massenbetrieb. Besonders freundliche gar individuelle
Betreuung und Bewirtung. Gutes Essen. Häuslich familiäre Atmosphäre
in den Restaurantzelten, gemütlich eingerichtet. Abends angenehme
Wärme an den Kaminöfen. Viel Infomaterial und Alben, Bücher
über Geschichte, Fauna und Flora liegen aus. Kompetente Wanderführer
der kleinen, überschaubarten Wandergruppen (10 Personen und
zwei Wanderführer, die für alle Tage im Eco Camp für die Gruppe
verantwortlich sind, mit denen sich auch Veränderungen bei
den Touren verabreden lassen). Es entstehen rasch neue Bekanntschaften,
ja Freundschaften. Die Super Domes entsprechen in ihrer Einrichtung
5 Sterne Hotelzimmern. Merkwürdig, dass das Eco Camp noch
in kaum einem der Reiseführer erwähnt wird (oder auch gut
so). Danke schön Kerstin (Traduction) The stay at the Ecocamp
is very recommendable. Ecologically impressive. Interesting,
enjoyable and well-educated guests. No mass treatment. Particularly
friendly, even individual hospitality. Good food. Homely and
cozy atmosphere in the restaurant-domes, comfortably equipped.
Nice and warm in the evenings due to the wood-stoves in the
evenings. Lots of information-material, albums, books about
history, fauna and flora. Professional guides for small groups
(10 people and two guides who are responsible for the group
all days and who are open to changes in the excursions as
well). New acquaintances and even friendships arise rapidly.
The super-domes correspond in their equipment to 5-star-hotels.
It is strange that ecocamp is not mentioned in most of the
travel guides (but maybe better this way).

This trip was the most amazing experience of my life. I have
been to over a dozen countries and have trekked all across
the alps - nothing could match the beauty of Torres del Paine.
I think that the nicest thing though was the people and the
trip itself. I think Cascada did an excellent job not because
of this or that technical luxury, but because of its excellent
choice in people, and because of the way that it organizes
the trip secondary to the wild nature of the parc. I really
enjoyed the combination of things being organized, but not
to the point that you felt separated from the sheer natural
beauty of the place. It was truly a moving experience, and
one my sisters and I will never forget. I really look forward
to joining another Cascada trip in the future.

I had a very positive experience with the entire booking
process and the tour was PERFECT. Everything was wonderful.
Our guide and the staff at EcoCamp were really helpful accommodating
me as a vegetarian, all of the lodgings and refugios were
nice. Our weather was perfect, the food at EcoCamp was really,
really good ? almost too much food. And the staff were all
very nice and helpful. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

5D Torres del Paine Trek

Hey, it has now been a couple of weeks without updates. The
reason is that I've spent some time off the bike hiking in
Torres del Paine national park and also met up with my friend
Simon. We went down to the very end of South America where
the pan American highway ends in Ushuaia. It is known as Fin
del Mundo or The End Of The World. I'm currently back in Buenos
Aires servicing my bike, the website and myself. Latest episode

4 Days Torres del Paine Passage

La verdad es que llegamos fascinados.........pocas veces
he podido decir que un lugar o algo ha superado mis expectativas,
el parque y el Ecocamp lo han hecho. Las Torres es un lugar
maravilloso y Uds. han sabido plantear algo diferente, algo
que cuesta imaginar pero que te llena de alegría al sólo verlo:
los domos son muy lindos y acogedores (aunque con mucho viento
crees que vas a volar.......claro que eso le da más romanticismo),
el baño es excelente (hay que asumir un poco de frío si quieres
ir en la noche, pero sabes que es así), la sala de lectura
y el comedor son cautivantes. Ni hablar de la comida.......excelente,
de primer nivel. Lo más importante es que todo el "staff"
es, simplemente, un excelente equipo humano: son simpáticos,
amables, cariñosos y hacen un excelente trabajo; los chefs
son un lujo. También te puedo decir que quedamos muy contentos
con Roberto, nuestro guía; fue un excelente compañero de viaje
e impresiona como conoce todo el parque, su flora y fauna,
y el nombre de cada cerro y laguna.....muy profesional y con
un excelente inglés. Los felicito! Que bueno que en Chile
exista algo así, me hace sentir orgulloso.

I've returned to reality here, where it's winter in New Hampshire.
I feel very changed after such an incredible week in TDP.
Thanks so much to you for helping me orgainize my trip - I
was doing it on my own and felt very comfortable leaving the
details in your hands. I was glad to be going with a Chilean
company as well, rather than a tour booked through the states
- it was clear that Cascada knew the territory very well.
The trip absolutely exceeded my high expectations. I was so
lucky to be with a wonderful group who got along well from
day 1. The guides were also fantastic and went above and beyond
their job description, making even the most challenging of
days fly by - they clearly love what they do and it made our
experience all the better. I am so grateful that Cascada made
it possible for me to see Patagonia - you are truly doing
a lot of people a great service. I was heartbroken to leave
but I only hope I'll be back one day soon. Thanks so much
for everything you did working out the details - I only wish
I could have had more time. I would have scrubbed EcoCamp
dishes just to stay! Thank you! Alice

Our 5 days eco camp trip was wonderful. We really enjoyed
it. Our guide Mickael was grate. We also had good group. The
exprience at the eco camp was fantastic. People are so nice
and food was all good. I appricate all of your help. We would
