Sebastian Gomez, EcoCamp General Manager
Sebastian has been managing EcoCamp since 2007, enjoying the quality of Patagonian life and the peacefulness of the park: “I like being connected so closely to nature and reminded on a daily basis of what’s really important in this world. Cristian Muñoz, EcoCamp Manager
An outdoors aficionado an Ecotourism & environmental interpretation expert, Cristian works as EcoCamp On-Site Manager since August 2015. Cristian is proud of the team which he thinks is "a family with great dedication for the service and fascinating human interactions". Cristian is the first person to have introduced canyoning to Chile and has worked for years in the field in Pucon with his girlfriend Andreanne (EcoCamp Co-Manager). His passion for nature is insatiable and he believes the beauty of Torres del Paine is one more reason to enjoy EcoCamp's daily life.
Andreanne Tremblay, EcoCamp Co-Manager (service)
A big-hearted adventurer, Andreanne left her native Quebec years ago – not only for her love for Cristian (EcoCamp On-Site Manager) but also because the immensity of Chile’s landscapes drew her attention. She worked 4 years in Pucon in adventure tourism before heading to the world’s end (by road!) for another wild experience. Since she started working as co-manager, she keeps staying that “it’s a truly exciting change in our life, as a couple, but also as humans. The connection with nature and people in here is just fantastic”.
Francisco Muñoz, EcoCamp Co-Manager (administration)
Francisco joined the EcoCamp Patagonia team in January 2014, after 9 years of experience in various hotels of Torres del Paine National Park. A nature lover, Francisco left Santiago to explore the immensity of Patagonia. He has been hiking in the national park more than once, and his knowledge of the area is a great benefit for the company. Francisco likes to hike and camp during his free time, without forgetting to bring some good music and his dogs whenever possible!
Lisette Nuñez, Head of Reception
Lisette Nuñez started working for EcoCamp in 2014, driven by a voracious wanderlust and a true passion for nature. She worked as Operations Assistant before she becoming Head of Reception at EcoCamp Patagonia, where her enthusiasm for meeting people, impressive langage skills (she speaks 4 languages!) and sense of organization are a great asset to the company. During her free time, Lisette likes to wander in the natural wonders of Southern Chile with her friends, looking for wildlife being the animal love that she is!
Rene Bustamante, Administration & Human Ressources Manager
Rene joined EcoCamp in 2006 and worked for 6 years in the Puerto Natales' office before becoming EcoCamp's onsite manager. He now works in the Puerto Natales office Adminstration & Human Ressources Manager and Quality Management System : for sure a valuable asset for the company's service excellence (EcoCamp is notably certified ISO 14001 and ISO 9001). Fresh from his travels in Europe, Rene is excited to be making the transition to his new dome home in Torres del Paine! He enjoys working at EcoCamp "because of the good team work and interaction with people from all over the world". Born and bred in Patagonia he loves the region because of "the freedom found in all the outdoor activities and the long summer days with very short nights".
Fernanda Sanchez, Operations Manager
A big fan of her country’s natural diversity, Fernanda recognised Chile’s tourism potential early on and studied Tourism Planning at university. Objective, hard-working and happy, she was part of the Cascada team from 2009-2012 and is very excited to have moved down to the heart of the action to head operations in EcoCamp's Puerto Natales office! Her favourite places in the world are Patagonia, the Atacama desert and Easter Island. When not wandering outside in the far flung corners of Chile, Fernanda likes to relax watching movies or enjoying a good Chilean BBQ with her family and friends.
Juan Colín, Head of Acquisitions
Juan started working at EcoCamp in 2008 as a waiter and moved to work in administration in EcoCamp’s office afterwards, where he’s now in charge of acquisitions and deliveries. Juan was born in Puerto Natales and despite periods living in different places in Chile, like San Pedro de Atacama, he’s at his happiest when in Patagonia, soaking up the region’s beautiful nature, fishing opportunities, and getting out into the depths of the countryside on weekends.
Daniel Cortes, Operations Assistant
A Puerto Natales native, Daniel always loved his region for the strong energy you can feel as you hike along the fjords, lakes and mountains of Magallanes. A tourism addict, Daniel opted for a more responsible tourism while specializing in Ecotourism. He worked in various refuges of Torres del Paine National Park before joining the EcoCamp team in 2015 as Operations Assistant. In his free time, when he's nots lost into computing, Daniel uses to spend some good time with his son or relax on a Taekwond session.
Alejandra Ruiz, Operations Assistant
Young, fresh and ever-smiling, Alejandra joined the EcoCamp family in 2015, after a short internship in the Puerto Natales office. Our new Operations Assistant was born in Puerto Natales, a city she appreciates for the permanent happiness of the people and the quietness of the surroundings. She always had a special relationship with tourism which she decided to study and likes to wander around the Patagonian mountains in her free time.
Renato Rodriguez, Head of Chauffeurs
Born and bred in Puerto Natales, in the heart of Chilean Patagonia, Renato started working in the transport sector at the age of 18. He joined our team in 2015 with great dedication for the good work and a keen sense of humour. Renato is a passionate father who loves to spend some good time with his family and friends and drive accross the immensity of Patagonia.
Sergio Ceron Barrientos, Accountant
Sergio was born in Puerto Natales - a region he admires for the beauty of its landscapes and the sympathy of its people. He joined the EcoCamp family in 2014 and since enjoys the friendliness of the staff and the uniqueness of the eco-domes that he thinks are a source of inspiration for many other eco-friendly projects around the world.
