Frequently Asked Questions

The guided 7-day W Trek combines the Towers Base, French Valley, Grey Glacier, and the trail along Lake Nordenskjöld beneath Los Cuernos. It includes nights at EcoCamp and campsites along the route.
Choose the 7-day W Trek for more time in Torres del Paine, the Los Cuernos–Nordenskjöld section, and an additional night along the trail. Choose the 5-day option if your time is limited and you want to focus on the main highlights.
Not necessarily. The longer program covers more ground rather than simply spreading the shorter itinerary over extra days. Compare daily walking times and elevation changes before choosing.
You should be comfortable with consecutive hiking days, steep ascents, and uneven terrain. We recommend arriving with recent hiking experience and reviewing the itinerary’s daily demands before booking.
No. The program includes four nights at EcoCamp and two nights at campsites along the W route.
Yes. Ask our team about shared-dormitory upgrades for the trail nights. Please note that refugio rooms accommodate up to six people, so you will have less privacy than in a tent. Availability is limited, so confirm the accommodation included in your booking before making travel arrangements.
Yes. The Towers Base is one of the program’s principal hikes. Thanks to EcoCamp’s proximity to the trail, you can begin and end the hike on foot directly from EcoCamp, without a van transfer. This demanding full-day hike includes a steep final ascent, so good physical preparation is essential.
The itinerary combines hiking in the Grey sector with glacier navigation. Boat operations depend on conditions, so the route may change if navigation is unavailable.
The classic itinerary focuses on the W route and additional park exploration. The Brush Variant adds an approach through fjords and more remote terrain before joining the W’s iconic sections.
Request our latest transfer schedule, confirm your departure date and meeting point, and check the recommended flight times. Allow time for any overnight stay needed before the program.
Yes. Weather and local conditions may occasionally require adjustments to hikes, boat trips, or the order of activities. If changes are needed, our guides and operations team will work together to choose the best available alternatives, keeping your safety and enjoyment in mind.
