Our roundup of the top news from Patagonia from May:

EcoCamp Closes for the Winter Season

Each year EcoCamp s closed between May and September due to the harshness of the climate. Part of EcoCamp’s eco-policy is to conserve energy and avoid electricity, and during the cold winter months, Patagonia gets just a bit too chilly for the Domes

This does not mean that our treks in the region are also on hold - quite the opposite! Winter in Patagonia is one of the most extraordinary seasons for a trekking adventure, a wintery white paradise that you are most likely to have all to yourself. Have a look at our tours (operated by our sister company, Cascada Expediciones) here.

They aim to put this grant to good work with the production of boardwalks and interpretive information detailing the protection of the O Circuit’s wetland areas.

The Conde Nast Readers’ Choice Awards are Now Open!

The Readers’ Choice Awards for 2018 are set to be better than ever, with the infamous publication offering voters the chance to win a luxurious Scandinavian cruise for two. EcoCamp is in the running, and we are asking for your help! Why should you vote for us? The first reason would be because you had an emotional and transformative experience with us. Second, because we want to show others in the area that there is another way of doing business, one which is fully sustainable and which creates opportunities for Torres del Paine rather than causing strain.  Follow the link here to vote for us - and thank you!
